Saturday craft!

Hi everyone,

Had a fun crafty afternoon!

I've started to also do some stitchery!

I found this pattern by rosalie quinlan which is done in all red Cosmo cotton. This will be a present for my mum!



I've also started a new lap quilt for my cousin! All blocks completed tonight! I brought this quilt kit from craftsy.



All 56 blocks completed. Now I just need to sew this together with white sashing in between! I have also decided to add in my own border to make it bigger than the kit!

Stitchery book

Hi every one,

Decided tonight to complete my stitchery book to place my hand embroidery in!

I got this pattern from a new book titled 'Stitch Zakka'.

The embroidery pattern on the front was pretty simple & only took me 2 hours. It then took me another 2 hours to put it together!

Printed Fabric for the inside was from Sarah Fielke & some plain linen for the outside!

Baby playmat

Hi every one,

I found this cute pattern on line to make a baby playmat for a friend at work.

It roughly took me a few hours to make & was very simple!

Birds - baby mobile

Hello,

It has been a while since I have posted anything on my blog!

I had not done any projects for quite a while but made a few blocks from my Tula Pink sampler book.

This weekend I decided to make a baby mobile for a girl at work who's having a baby.

This project was easy. I purchased the fabric yesterday and put it together pretty quickly!

I decided to sew the birds on some thick string & add some bells!
